Disney Predicts Strong Quarter at Theme Parks Walt Disney Co. predicts strong results from theme parks even as Disneyland in California faces difficult comparisons from 2006, its 50th anniversary year. Theme-park profit rose 19 percent to $254 million last quarter on an 8.7 percent gain in sales to $2.45 billion.
