The Oriental Land Co. has announced that the number of visitors to its two theme parks in the year through the end of March rose 4.2 percent from a year earlier to a record 25,816,000 people. The previous record was 25,473,000 people registered in fiscal 2003, when Disneyland commemorated its 20th anniversary. Special promotins at both parks and the new Tower of Terror were cited as reasons for the attendance increase.
