2005 Walt Disney World Florida Classic
Hundreds of thousands of fans of Bethune-Cookman College and Florida A&M University are setting their sights on Walt Disney World Resort, the title sponsor for the historic football showdown between FAMU's Rattlers and BCC's Wildcats. They'll meet in the Walt Disney World Florida Classic at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium on Nov. 19. The game is expected to draw a sellout crowd of more than 72,000 fans, making it one of the largest African-American events in Central Florida. The 26-year rivalry will happen before a national audience, scheduled for broadcast on ESPNU. But long before that first kick, the schools' award-winning marching bands will be enchanting crowds.
