Disney Announces Beautifully Disney Cosmetics
 Beautifully Disney, a new collection of cosmetics and beauty products for women, is coming exclusively to Disney Parks. Beautifully Disney provides a rich color collection for lip, eyes, and nail at an exceptional quality level. The cosmetics will be available March 2 at select retail locations including Tren-D at Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Vault 28 at Disneyland Resort.

10K Added To Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend
 Today runDisney announced the 2013 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend is expanding with the addition of the Disneyland 10K at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Cal. The new 10K will be a timed event and take runners through Disneyland park, Disney California Adventure park and on the streets of Anaheim. Runners looking for a bigger challenge can register for the Dumbo Double Dare. A limited number of runners will have the opportunity to take the dare and run the Disneyland 10K on Saturday and the Disneyland Half Marathon on Sunday – 19.3 miles total. Registration for all Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend races opens on January 22, 2013 and takes place August 30 – September 1, 2013, at Disneyland Resort.

Grand Opening of New Fantasyland, Test Track & Splitsville - Media Event
 A busy few days begins tomorrow with our own MCP John heading to the Walt Disney World Resort for the long awaited Grand Opening of New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom, the re-imagined Test Track in Epcot and Splitsville in Downtown Disney. Wine And Beer To Be Served At Magic Kingdom
According to the Disney Parks Blog, for the first time ever, beer and wine will be served during dinner hours in the Magic Kingdom at the new Be Our Guest restaurant in Fantasyland. Select wines and beers will be offered that complement the French-inspired cuisine. Famous French wines, along with French and Belgium beer will be offered.

WDW Mom's Panel Now Accepting Applications for 2013
Disney Parks today announced the 2013 Walt Disney World Moms Panel call for entries, featuring the search for its first-ever Sports Team Moms. The best draft picks for this position will have experience organizing team travel to sporting events at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex while incorporating the magic of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Disney is also seeking bilingual panelists and international travelers to provide valuable expertise for its visitors. Apply through September 14.

'Phineas and Ferb & YOU: A Brand New Reality' Coming To DTD
Beginning September 1, this new experience will allow guests to step onto a platform and virtually interact with Phineas, Ferb, Dr. Doof and Agent P (in their animated forms) on a screen above. Fans can expect to experience any one of 20 different interactions, from dancing “The Platypus Walk” to getting caught in Dr. Doof’s Freeze-inator. Afterward, guests can digitally share a complimentary souvenir photo of their animated interaction with their family and friends.

Magic, Memories & You Closing To Make Way For New Show
The nighttime Castle projection show at Walt Disney World, which plays nightly before and after Wishes, will have it's last performance on September 2 to make way for a new enhanced show to debut later this year. This popular show debuted in January, 2011 as part of the "Let the Memories Begin" campaign and featured seasonal changes to the show.

20th Anniversary Walt Disney World Marathon Medal Unveiled
Today, runDisney revealed the much anticipated commemorative 20th anniversary Walt Disney World Marathon medal giving runners extra incentive to finish the 26.2 mile course. The medal’s unique design features a classic circular shape and two spinning elements, including a medallion with classic and modern images of Mickey Mouse, and two inspirational quotes from Walt Disney himself.

New Fantasyland Expansion Grand Opening Set for December 6, 2012
The grand opening for the New Fantasyland expansion at Magic Kingdom® Park at Walt Disney World® Resort will take place on Dec. 6, 2012! Attractions included in this opening are Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid, Be Our Guest Restaurant, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Ariel’s Grotto, Gaston’s Tavern and Bonjour! Village Gifts. Previews of these attractions will begin earlier, on November 19.

2012 Epcot Food & Wine Festival Details Announced
For a record 46 days, beginning September 28, 2012, Disney guests can taste their way around the world during the 17th annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. '12 Epcot Candlelight Processional Narrators Announced
The Candlelight Processional is a beloved holiday offering at Epcot that combines seasonal music with a reading of scripture by a celebrity narrator. It will be performed nightly November 23 – December 30, at 5, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m. Returning favorites this year include Gary Sinise, Neil Patrick Harris, Marlee Matlin and Whoopi Goldberg, along with newcomer Olivia Newton-John.

Robert Sherman Passes Away At Age 86
 Songwriter Robert Sherman died Monday, March 5 in Longdon. Together with his brother Richard, the Disney legend wrote a number of songs for Disney movies and theme park attractions, including 'It's a Small World (After All)' and 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'.

Storybook Circus to Open By Late March & Snow White Attraction Closes
 The first elements of Storybook Circus will open by late March, marking the first in a series of progressive openings for the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom Park history. Among the first experiences to open will be one carousel of Dumbo the Flying Elephant, a re-themed Barnstormer starring the Great Goofini and the Fantasyland Station of the Walt Disney World Railroad. The Disney Princesses will be getting a new home at the location where Snow White’s Scary Adventures is today, which closes May 31.

Kilimanjaro Safaris To Undergo Refurb At Animal Kingdom
 Beginning this spring, the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction will undergo some changes to give guests an additional opportunity to see more of their favorite animals, specifically zebra. To do so, Walt Disney Imagineering will make some creative changes to the last scene in the attraction by removing the Audio-Animatronics “Little Red” elephant and related set pieces. This area will then be reconstructed as savannah space and feature a new watering hole for live animals.

8 Themed Lands For California Adventure, Cars Land To Officially Open June 15
 When the Disney California Adventure 5 year expansion is complete this summer, eight new lands will make up the theme park, including a bug's land, Condor Flats, Grizzly Peak, Hollywood Land, Pacific Wharf, Paradise Pier, and new lands Buena Vista Street and Cars Land. The latter will officially open on June 15.

Earl of Sandwich Coming to Disneyland Resort's Downtown Disney District
 Earl of Sandwich is coming to Downtown Disney at Disneyland in early summer 2012! The only Earl of Sandwich in the state of California, the restaurant will be located adjacent to the AMC Theaters close to the Disneyland Hotel. In addition to a variety of sandwiches including it's signature hot sandwich, the Original 1762, soups, salads, wraps and desserts also are on the menu. Earl of Sandwich is also located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Paris.

Fastpass Changes Coming to WDW in March
 In preparation for implementing it's NextGen project, Disney World will apparently soon be enforcing the return time on it's Fastpasses. Beginning March 7, guests will be allowed to enter 5 minutes before the start time and only up to 15 after the end time stated on the Fastpass. For many years, guests were able to take advantage of the Fastpass being honored all day after the first return time.
